Workshop review

The second I got there, I could feel my shoulders drop, and my whole body instantly relax. The surroundings are beautiful and nature everywhere you look.

There was fabulous home-made Banana Bread & iced coffee waiting for us.

Biddy talked us through the process, and it was really simple. For a newbie creative like myself, I was so delighted with the outcome of the pieces! It really shows that anyone can take part. Biddy showed us different ways to use the Cyanotype, and her garden has a multitude of different flowers & plants to experiment with.

We had a delicious vegan meal, al fresco, which was very welcomed after the mornings work.

I thoroughly enjoyed the day, and will definitely sign up again!

Thank you Bid!

This workshop will guide you through the process cyanotype printmaking.

This alternative photography method has a lot to offer in a creative practice.

At first you can take the time to look at examples of work and experiment with coating paper. As your paper dries you can walk in the beautiful garden and gather textured elements for your prints. The next step is arrangement and composition followed by UV light exposure in the sunshine. We will explore exposure times while we develop the prints. We will also look at the process of acetate printing.

This workshop is an opportunity to slow down and get inspired in a relaxing environment. The outcomes include learning a new process, cyanotype prints to take home and hopefully some new friends.
